I am going to Cancun for my best friends wedding in a week and just found out about it last week. Very short notice. I have some old tickets that I hadn't taken care of yet in Nevada for driving with no license and no insurance. I moved to Oregon shortly after I got them and for got about taking care of them. I haven't driven since then. It has been 4 years now. Will I have any trouble leaving or coming back into the counrty next week. I can't fly down there to take care of them this week.

The tickets themselves aren't a problem. However, don't forget that you need a current passport..

FYI - under TSA rules you aren't allowed to pass through security at the airport for a domestic flight without a CURRENT government issued ID. Your expired drvers license does not qualify.

If you have enough money to fly somewhere for a wedding, why don't you have enough money to have properly taken care of your ticket warrants?

The leaving from this country might not be such a big deal, but when you try and come back into this country you just might win the NCIC game at the airport and end up in jail for your reluctance to have taken care of your warrants. Warrants do not expire. NCIC does not take holidays. Once your name is put into their computer you definitely will be a "winner".

Yes, I guess I missed that too.

So, if OP knows the difference between a warrant and a ticket (dubious assumption), and can confirm that there are outstanding Nevada arrest warrants the question comes down to this: do the authorities do multi-state arrest warrant checks upon U.S. departure and entry?

If they are using the NCIC system to check out folks returning to this country I'm pretty sure they will catch up to this person.
