    Bloody noses while pregnant?
I know there are at least 2 other pregnant ladies on here, are either of you having bloody noses?

I get them about once a week, but I have had one off and on all night tonight and it's driving me bonkers. I know I had them with my daughter, but I cannot recall having had more than a couple. This is my 12th and they all started this month. It's partially due to the fan on at night, that has always given me a bloody nose once in a while with the humidity level change. Anyone else?

No actually, it's always run a bit on the low side of normal. I did get preeclampsia (spelling?) with my first though. God I hope I am not getting it again. I would HATE bed rest. I'll ask my dr when I go in on the 12th.

One of the common annoyances of being pregnant for many women... along with feeling stuffed up at times... :) Increased blood volume and swelling of the nasal passages are often a big part if it.
Always wise to let your doctor know about it though. Hope it lets up for you!

Definitely common :D I hated it. My doctor said its because of increased blood flow. My gums also bled when I brushed them.

Definitely tell your doctor like DLC said, but I suggest you put a light coat of vasaline in your nostrals. This is what I did and it helped a lot. Though I can't say for sure if it was because I live in Arizona and my nose was so bad because of the heat lol. But its worth a try.

Okay going on day three now and I am still bleeding off and on. We DID have a storm front blow through, typical answer. But it's SO gross and uncomfortable. I called my doctor and they said unless it's excessive or continues through the weekend not to stress.

I hate my doctor, all doctors, people, M&M's when they taste stale... Gah. Pregnant moment.

Hi chey, perk up luvvy, I admire you for even being pregnant and going through this, going through anything while pregnant. Some day I will tell you stories of me pregnant on the farm, being gored by the bull, kicked by the goat, attacked by the rooster and nailing him with a shovel and thinking I had finally did him in, (but no, uphe pops again l/2 h our later and takes another go at me! ##%%). Gawd..!

Hang in there and I hate stale M&Ms too !

That's like the time I punted a goose about 15 feet because he tried to bite my son. I was determined to shoot that thing till my uncle wrestled the shot gun from my hands. I still think it was young enough to have made a good dinner.
