    Central air conditioning unit
    Hi,
I have to get my central air conditioning unit disconnected and shifted to get the pavement underneath it repaired. Also need to get it connected again. How much should the service charge me? One estimate was $1100 which is far too much.
    Can anyone suggest or comment?

    Thank you

    I agree get several quotes..
In my neck of the woods that sounds about right. There are several other things that make it that high. They have to trap the refridgerant charge, vacuum the lineset after reinstalled. Release the charge, and other things. So to be honest it might not be a bad quote.
