    Airspan ceiling fan remote
I just bought an 69"Airspan ceiling fan from Harbour Breeze. It did not come with a remote and they sent me one. How do I get the covers off the fans to check the remotes settings? The light works but not the fans.

No cover, its inside the canopy or ill be once you install it there. So to be sure I understand you right, you got the remote separately and then installed it, right so far? The receiver is the box you put inside th canopy and it has about 9 little dip switches wjhich must match the 9 switches inside the hand held remote transmiter under the battery cover.

If it works the lights the codes are fine and there is some other issue. Make sure the wires are hooked up correctly.
