Outdoor wiring of switched plug and constant power to motion light
I need a wiring diagram to control a switched receptacle and a motion light. The power to the motion light must be constant. The power to the receptacle switched. Any help would be appreciated.

Just how you would do that depends on where the switch, the outlet and the motion light are relative to one another and where you want to bring the power in. Is the light and the motion sensor all one unit or is the motion sensor separate from the light? Here are a few ways. There are probably a couple more.
