    PVC cement for shower drain
    I have a shower drain that I need to fix. It's a 2" PVC pipe/ PVC drain that I need to connect together. Does anyone know Texas code laws about primer and cement?

    This is what I have

    PVC Rain-R-Shine® Blue Cement :: Oatey.com ( does not say waste water or drain )

    Purple Primer Cleaner :: Oatey.com

    Thanks for the help

    I am thinking it won't hurt for you to read this whole page. FAQ :: Oatey.com That blue cement is on of several solvents that would work but that one dries very quick and is designed for a wet application like when its raining or you can't get the drains dry.
