    Can you go to jail for Assulte level 1 and mischeif under 5000 $ ?
    Hello,
    I hope someone can help me out, I am just wondering if someone can go to jail for assault level 1 and mischeif under 5000 $? The person also already has a record. I hope someone can help me out,

    Are they on probation?
    They can go to jail but it is up to the Judge what is determined.

    Without knowing the state you live in OR the circumstanses, I'm only guessing... But, everywhere I've been, any kind of assault is punishable by jail time.
