What do I do ,or who can I talk to about a law office that I have started paying for service to help me file for a visa for my wife to come to america on 1/09/09 ,and here it is 7/26/09 and they are not showing me that they did or will be filing for her visa .I have giving every document that was ask for ,and was told that it will take 5 (to) 6 months to hear sometime . In April 2009 I called they office for a up date ,and was told my case was pass over to another worker in they office .when I try to talk to that worker ,I was then told it had been pass to another worker.In June 2009 I was giving the same story that they gave me back in April 2009 another worker has my case . I feel like that lawer office is giving me the run around ,and still asking for more money without trying to file for my wife visa.What do I do,and who can I talk to about this? I have to ask, you said wife, when and where were you married ? And what country is she coming from ?
** I ask this because of the large amount of "immigratoin dating fraud.

It is taking about 6 months for the K-3 visa approvals from the USCIS, this is from date of filing.

All state bars allow for a client to have a copy of the file. I would confirm they have filed and get a copy of the I-797 receipt notice. It will have a file number (starts with 3 letters) for you to track online at the USCIS website.

If you are not satisfied with the work, then terminate the attorney-client agreement and find counsel that is more responsive. Check with AILA for good referrals in your area.
