How to change CV boots, joints and Axle on 98 Nissan Maxima
I have a 98 NISSAN Maxima. About 6 weeks ago I heard a clicking noise on turning the steering wheel to left and right. I took it to maintinance place. There mechanic told me that both the CV boots are ripped and they needed to be changed. He also said if the grease is dried up then additional repairing might be required. I learned it online that if the grease in dried up I might need to change CV joints and Axles too. I want to know is there anyway I can do it myself. If I can, will it be a good idea to do it myself? How much would it cost to do it myself and how long would it take to do that? What tools will I need?

If anyone can helo me, I would highly appreciate the help.

    Thanks
