    Drive letter not showing
    Hi,

    I have a hard disk of 10 gb. When I connect it in IDE 2, it gets detected in bios. But it is not showing the drive letter in my computer. Only the IDE 1 Hard disk drives letters are seen.

    Tell me what should be done to get the data from that hard disk.

    Try add new hard... in control panel

    Which operating system do you have. Detach and reattach the 2nd hdd. Also try attaching the hdd into the ide cable used for the cd rom

    Try the above info and also go to the drive manager and see if its healthy. Also, maybe change jumper settings on the hard drive

    My pen drive letter is not comieng but manage is showing drive letter

    On the hard drive itself there will be a small jumper that you would need to change

    It is probably on Master, need to change that to either Slave (S)
    Or Cable Select (CS)

    Check the jumper setting and post back
