    Changing Political Party Affiliation
I am currently a registered voter in Georgia with a political party affiliation. I want to change my affiliation to Independent. How do I do that?
    Thanks!

Keep in mind that it's only necessary to declare a party affiliation for primary elections. However, I believe you have up to 30 days before the primary election in question with which to change your party affiliation. Contact the county clerk, the same as you would if you were newly registering to vote.

The League of Woman Voters usually helps with this. Check their website for a local chapter.
