    Married at 14yrs old used for green card
    Born in canada my mother decided to take me to pakistan at the age of 14yrs old and get me married to a man that was 8yrs older than me cam back to canada in a year had my daughter in 2001 left than in 2003 he did not have his papers when I left him
    But I just found out that he got his papers and I was the 1 that sponsored him I don't understand how this can happen without me knowing he just cam back from pakistan
    He got married there now he is asking me for a divorce I am a single mother and have an 8yr old. If someone can please help me I want to know what are my rights whet can I do to send him back he already has his green card I feel like I have been used and left with a child to take care of

    I'm sorry your mother put you through this.

    But try to look at the glass half full... now you have a beautifull baby girl to love all to yourself and you don't have to share her with anyone.

    I would say your first step is to visit this site and select your... state? I'm not sure if it's a state or a territory in canada or what it is... but select your area. And they can get you the social assistance (called welfare in the US) you need.

    I am a Lawyer from Pakistan. Polygamy is an offence without permission of 1st wife. Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961 section 6 deals with this and 1 year imprisonment is punishment for this offence.
    You can get maintenance and child support according to the Pakistani Law.
