    Whirlpool Dryer not Heating!
I have a Whirlpool Dryer Model# LER8648PW0 it is not heating I have tried several things and tested every component that I can think of I have tested every thermostat and each checked OK with good continuity so I then checked the heating element and it checked with 9.8ohms good cont. I but when I tested the cycling thermostat across the 2 smaller pins I got 1698ohms which I assumed was defective so I ordered a new one with a thermal fuse but when I got the new thermo I chekced and got the same high ohms so I guess it is normal I still installed new parts and no change still not heating I did check power supply I got 122V at each pole on the swith block on the dryer I also checked the thermal cut off it was OK and bypassed to make sure it was not the cause still no heat so I then checked voltage at the heating element at the coil itself and was getting 110V is that normal because still no heat. Please help me figure it out and I will get with you to order the parts.

You need 220V across the flats on your plug (Red and Black) and 120V across the rest. Turn your breaker off and then on. Twice if you like. It will be a double 30A and it may not look tripped so do not just look at it and assume it is good.
