    Hello k:

    The statute of limitation are based on the crime, not on the trial...

    So, I don't know how long YOUR SOL ran, but it starts at the time the crime was discovered, and ends when you're charged.

    My guess is that the time stopped tolling after they charged you, and started again when the charges were dismissed.
