    Garage door overhead lamp blinks
The lamp (not LED) that is mounted on my garage door opening unit turns on and off by itself when we open the garage door. It does not stay on for the designated time either, when I close it. The garage door opens and closes fine. Any advise on how to fix this problem will be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance to all, regards

Are you using the exact awttage that this unit calls for? Some openers use a light timer that actually gets hot from the wattage pulled by the bulb. Wrong wattage will lengthen or shorten the timer.
