    Stained corian
I have 20 year old Corian counter tops in my bathroom. Structurally they are fine, but they are very stained and look horrible. I have tried sanding and also buffing with auto rubbing compound w/out results. The stains appear to be very deep into the material. I would like to know if thie material can be either painted or re-glazed like a bathtub? Or, would it be more cost effective to just get new countertops?

Sanding is what I was going to suggest too, but you have already tried it. Have you tried bleach on it. Soak a cloth in bleach and put it on the stain for, say, l5 20 minutes and then scrub.
