    Drive pulley removal for Craftsman LT1000
    I need to replace the transmission cooling fan for a Craftsman LT1000 lawn tractor. How do I get the drive pulley off?

    Hi,
    Best is probably an air tool as it will have both the force and acceleration needed.

I am having trouble removing the bolt from the top of the mandrel pulley on a Craftsman lawn tractor model number 917.271051. Does it have to be removed in a certain manner?

The drive belt that propels the machine keeps coming off the idler pulley. It appears that the idler pulley is positioned we below the other two pulleys. Is there a way to move the idler pulley up so it aligns with the others.
