I have a bit of an odd question. I know that when you live/ work closely with another woman (women) that your menstruation cycles can sync up. I've expierenced this before. However, for a very long time, my cycle has been every 28 days like clockwork... until now. I recently (in January) moved in to a house with my male cousin and 3 other male roommates, and I also work at a trucking company with 99% male employees. I am literally surrounded by men, and literally have only a couple of girl friends in my new location. I was synced up with my boss (one of the few women I know here) as recently as the end of May, beginning of June- and am now 2 weeks (almost 3) late on this cycle. I asked her if she got hers when she was supposed to this month, and she did. So- long story short, I was wondering if living with a bunch of males can mess up your hormones/ cycle in sort of the same (but obviously different) way as living with a bunch of females. Any ideas? There's no possible way that I'm pregnant, and I know stress can affect the cycle, but I'm not stressed out about anything. I'm just fishing for some clues, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have serious doubts that living with males would affect your cycle to that degree.

Stress and pregnancy are just two reasons your cycle can be disrupted. Diet, illness, cysts, and many other factors can also be the cause.

Since you're several weeks late, I suggest asking your doctor for clues.
