    Credit for child?
There is no cut off date for when your child is born during the 2009 year, right? It occurred to me reading a post on another tax question. My due date is Nov 9th and I haven't had to deal with a new baby in 7 years, it's all been length of time custody issues.

I don't know what you mean by cut off date - if you are asking whether you get a tax exemption for the child, yes, if the child is born any time in 2009 you get a tax credit for 2009.

I know the feeling - sometimes my fingers race ahead of my brain. And I don't even have the "pregnant" excuse!
