    The Secret garden
    I was watching this movie.
    And I got a little confused. It never bothered me when I was younger (this was my favorite movie) but it stood out for me as an adult.


    In the 1995 version,

    Why did mary react SO badly when martha said she thought mary would be a native of india?

    I think that Mary thought that Indians were lower class than her. When they were in India they had sevants, so that would have twisted her views.
