    SMB:

Though it is somewhat uncommon for those on a H-1B visa, not filing tax returns for several years happens quite often among U.S. residents.

Since you are on an H-1B visa, you MUST file Form 1040. They specifically ask which visa you are under when you file Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ,and they DO cross-check with the Department of Homeland Defense.

How did you get paid for these odd jobs? W-2 or Form 1099-MISC?

If W-2, were income taxes withheld for both federal and state?

I can help you file these returns for very reasonable fees. If interested, contact me at [email protected].

It does not matter where you are located, as I have serviced clients from all over the United States and from several foreign countries.
