Won't won't come out of pipe for shower
The problem is that the water won't come out of the shower head. I took the shower head off and turned the water on and it doesn't seem to be the shower head. Just a stream of water comes out of the pipe.

Do I need to get a plummer?

    Thanks,

    Your question's confusing. You say
the water won't come out of the shower head
    and yet
I took the shower head off and turned the water on and it doesn't seem to be the shower head. Just a stream of water comes out of the pipe.
You say that you get a stream of water out of the open shower arm. If you get water out of the pipe then you have a clogged shower head. Soak it in Vinegar or 409 and if you still can't get it to work replace it. Good luck, Tom

With the shower head removed you say Just a stream of water comes out of the pipe, Your question is confusing, if the water flow is good with out the shower head, the shower head is clogged then follow Tom's advice, if no water, come back to us and tell us if you have tub and shower or shower only, Thanks.

Shower pipe squeal? [ 2 Answers ]

We have a shower in a 2nd bathroom that has a loud squeal whenever it is used. It seems to be temperature related as it does not make any noise when running cold water. But as soon as any warm water is introduced it squeals. It sounds like the noise is at the shower head. I've changed that out...

My shower head broke so we bought a new one to replace it. The problem is that the pipe in the wall that connects to the shower head looks like it is stripped. It seems like there are fragments of the old shower head stuck in the groves (sorry I really don't know the technical terms) I went to...
