Sweated on or threaded. I'd charge around $25 but a plumber would charge more, he has insurance, a truck, license, etc... Did someone give you an estimate?

Pleas furnish us with details and perhaps you won't need a plumber. Answer Bobs question, "sweated or threaded". Why do you wish to replace it? Is something broken or does it leak? If it simply leaks tell us where it's leaking from. Regards, Tom

It is a small job. You will not pay for the amount of work done but for somebody to come over with fully equipped truck. Also, it depends where you are located. In So.California, you would probably pay in the neighborhood of $120.00 + cost of parts. You can also call Handy Man and cut cost of labor in half.
