    Key stuck in ignition
    Mazda -key is stuck in ignition-is there a way for us to get it out?

    Is the steering lock on?

    The key won't come out in some cars if the steering lock is on (You cannot turn wheel)
    Or if the car is not in Park (for automatics)

    I drive a MAZDA.
    I have been doing it for 10 years.
    It has only happened to me once.
    Luckily it was under warranty.
    They had to change the whole locking system.
    Only a small minority of locks are faulty,
    Less than .01 %.
    You happen to be one of the unluck ones.
    Take it in and have the locking system properly seen to, or better still get them to your place to fix it.
