    Is Losepine a antibiotic?
I'm taking Losepine for a suspected Peptic Ulcer and I'm just wondering is Losepine a antibiotic? I take two a day although I don't think I have a stomach ulcer but the doctor just guessed.

Ive never heard of losepine, do you mean lansoprazole?

The closest thing go losepine is loxapine which is an antipsychotic.

But if its for a peptic ulcer, I would imagine that yes its an antibiotic :)

Why did your doctor give you a pill without telling you what it was?

Yep it's definitely Losepine. The bottle says it has 20mg of Omeprazole if that helps..

Omeprazole is basically prilosec. Which is for acid reflux/heartburn.

I'm sorry I can't give you any more information as I have no idea what losepine may be :P so any thing I can tell you about it would be me guessing and assuming :P

Hopefully someone comes along who knows it :)
