    Trying to get pregnant

    My husband and I have been together for about 7 years...
    Even though we have never tried to get pregnant..
    We have always used unprotected sex...
    I am not on birth control and I have never been on it..
    We recently thought about having a baby...
    Can this mean that I can't get pregnant.. Cause if I could shouldn't it already of happened?

    You would think. Wow! 7 years of unprotected sex and no babies? Talk to your doctor. Think about it, that's what people do when they do want babies. You could have been trying this whole time with no luck.

    Its time to go to your obgyn and get a complete check up. Most couples may take up to a year to get pregnant while actively trying. Since you have not been actively trying, i.e. charting ovulation etc. I would not be too overly concerned. Your doctor may recommend that you go to a fertility expert to determine if there may be a problem. It may not be your problem, it may be his or a combination of both. Best wishes!
