My new poem.
My letter to you.
Death is a part of life,
And memorys a part of living.
Day to day strife,
Taking, trading, and giving.
When I go to sleep tonight,
I'll see you standing there.
You'll smile at me,
Through tears and say:
"Life isnt always fair."
Death goes through the night,
And searches through the day.
It seeks out every life,
And whisks them all away.
Death does not know the lines,
Between the young and old,
Death does not care at all,
If you broke the mold.
At first, I tried not to be angry.
Oh, how I tried.
I tried to see your reason,
All the pain you felt inside.
But now I know I cant,
And probably never will.
I will never understand,
What made you take that pill.
You decided it was best,
To leave us here alone.
So you put yourself to rest,
And none of us had known.
You didn't have to go.
But even though you did,
You will still be loved.
And we will meet again one day,
When I fly above.
-paige.
Please, please, please, tell me what you think.

Who is the author of a poem and what is the complete poem?

I remember part of a poem but cannot remember the author. The parts I somewhat remember are this:
I have often wondered at the epitaph that was written for me,
A boat with furled sail at rest in a harbor.
In truth it pictures not my destination but my life.
For love was offered me but I shrank...

My Unsung Hero
I have an unsung hero
A near and dear best friend
And although everyone else around me leaves
I take comfort in knowing he'll be with me 'til the end
Its him who keeps me together
