    Task Manager Question
I have Windows XP... froze my computer the other day and tried to use CTRL+ALT+DEL and got an error message that says "Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator". Since I am the administrator and can't remember doing this, I am wondering how to "fix" it? Thanks!

Are you sure you are using an Admin account and not a User one?

I looked and it was listed that my husband and I were administrators and our girls had limitd accounts. We removed him as an administrator. I just don't know how to enable the task manager again.

This posting lays it out pretty well... if it's above your head, let me know and I can elaborate.

After removing your husband as a admin . Does your account still show you with admin rights? If not you will need to re-enable admin rights on your husbands account and then enable rights .

lo-t ~ thank you! Used Method 3 at the site you gave and all is normal again! Although a lot of the technical stuff is over my head, I was able to understand it just fine :) Thanks again!

You can also easily enable disabled Task Manager using Task Manager Fix tool, available FREE.

Download it and click Fix Now and it's all done.
