How to reduce memory usage on Firefox?
I costs me 200+ Mb now, and the total is 500Mb.

I've install many extensions, but it's a must. Could anyone help me?

What version of Firefox? Versions above 3 take up less memory than previous versions.

Check addons and disable ones you may not need

Use NO extensions, disable as many plugins as possible, and use no more than one tab at a time

    (plugins are NOT extensions)

I really like Firefox browser, until it takes all the available memory and hogs the cpu. Then the machine grinds to a snails pace. It doesn't happen all the time. But when it does a reboot or manually shutting it down is the only solution. Anyone else experiencing this problem?
