    Domestic violence
    Hello I live in Ohio and I was wondering if anyone knows what my chances might be of receiving probation for a 4 degree felony of domestic violence I have one other DV I was convicted of 14 years ago and was wondering if the law provides probation for this offense.

    I don't know but be cooperative and you can request to take DV classes. That would be in your favor.
    You could possibly get probation... at least in my state.

    The sentence will depend up on
    1. any plea deal your attorney works out with the DA
    2. If no deal, the pre sentence investigation and any statements of the victim.

    Also so many factors, the reasons, the injuries, Holes in the walls and a couple small bruises is a lot different than a broken arm, black eyes and more to a jury
