NEW Ceiling fan VERY low light very slow fan!
I have 2 new Harbor Breeze fans SPRINGFILED Model#294978 and with these fans I have two Harbor Breeze wal control switches Model #130622.
I have run two brand new power lines right from the breaker box to these new fans! But the lights only glow like a dead flash light and the fans only go real slow like in the slowest setting!! I have even tried to run the fans directly wired into the breaker and you can not run the lights and the fan at the same time!! I have 110v on the lines but it seems like there is no AMPS. No matter if I have the wall control switches in or if I wire them directly to the box!!
I am not an expert but I am also not an idiot! But at this point I will take ANY help I can get. Both fans do the same thing so I am at a loss as to what is going on!!
Thank you for your time and trouble!!

Tell us more about the wiring you did. First, check your neutral connections at the breaker panel.

Thank you for your time and trouble! I did find the power issue! It looks like who ever wired my mian breaker box the did some weird ! The black line came out of the breaker and the white went to the black line of another wire and that white then went to the neutral bus bar!! SO messed up! I took all that apart and just ran a WHOLE new line from start to finish!!
Thank you again for you help I really do appreciate it!

Ceiling fan only works slow. [ 19 Answers ]

I live in a 2 year old house. The ceiling fan has quit working on any speed but low. I just changed the switch and nothing changed? Could the motor be bad already? It says it is a model AC-552 but no brand. It may be Hampton Bay. I can hear a low leval hum from it.

Ceiling fan is too slow [ 2 Answers ]

I have ceiling fan that is all the sudden running very slowly (it is about 5 years old, but I am the second owner on the home, so no owners manual).
