    School or what
Hello, my name is dave. I just got out of the army and have no direction and came here for some answers on what to do. Ok... some background info. I finished high school but never got the sat's done and therefore now I am not sure if I should go to some course or just go to a community college or maybe work a little and get some experience in business. Any suggestions? It will be very apreciated.

I think taking a few college courses wouldn't hurt like getting your basics finished up and you can do that at community and also do a part time job or a full time job and part time school... That's what I am doing this fall full time job (because I live on my own) and part time school to finish up my basics... That can also give you time to figure out what you really want to do and what you excel in... just thoughts though... you should probably do whatever you think is best for you.

I would say start at a community college. Take a few different classes. Find out what you're interested in. This way you don't end up wasting a lot of time or money on finding your knack. Get a job, part-time, full-time, whatever works for you to fill in the gaps. That's what I did. Worked out pretty well for me.

I think that you should take classes also. Then you can speak to a counselor at the school for career guidance and this may help you decide what to do with your life.
