    Meeting with my ex in 3 days
    I've met my ex girlfriend in 2002 on an exchange program between surinam and france guyana. I live in surinam and my ex in france guyana. I fell in love with her from day one but I never told her. In 2004 she came back on another exchange program and I took the courage to tell her how I felt about her. She felt the same way but she said that we couldn't be together.In 2006 I moved to france guyana to be with her, she got pregnant there after of my child. She had 3 other kids before mine and the also love me. The problem: she wasn't religious when we started but about a year into the relationship she started to go to a church. She wanted me to join so I did but I noticed that she started to neglect things that were important to us. So I talked to her but to no avail. So this year I decided to return home to see my family and to give her some time to think. Less than 6 weeks of returning home she sends me an sms that is over. Now she is coming with my daughter on a convention and she wants to see me. Advice

    Enjoy the time with your daughter. Unless both of you are willing to do the work to make your relationship work be polite to her but make the visit more about seeing your daughter than her.

    The focus should be your daughter. You should consider finding some alone time with your own daughter as well, instead of trying to see both of them at the same time. Seeing your ex will take the focus off your daughter.

    As for your situation with your ex girlfriend, she doesn't seem to want to make the effort to work on the relationship anymore, so you should move on.
