1998 Honda Civic Ex 1.6l vtec.
My father was borrowing my car the other day and while driving it, the car suddenly stopped running like the keyswitch had been turned off. After having the car towed home, I looked into the problem and realized I had no spark. I was wondering if it is possible for the main relay to be bad even if the fuel pump is still working. I have verified the fuel pump turning on. Also, while using the swaptronic method I have installed a new coil and ignition control module both however didn't fix the spark issue. If the main relay isn't the problem I was wondering if anyone else had an idea.

Replace the distributor housing with a new one one from Honda. Internal sensors (CKP, TDC, or CYL) may be bad. Install your new ICM and coil in the new housing.
