Pump 1 low speed not working
I have a coast spa model#3E2270 with 7hp 230 volt motor, motor hums and shuts off on over load in low speed. Works OK in high speed. Need to find if it is getting proper voltage to motor, or controller is bad. Thanks for any help

Could be either the contacts on the back of the motor or the pump relay on the circuit board.

If it has started to get louder, could be bearings going out due to age or leaking seal. If you notice water, or white build up between the motor and wet end, it has been leaking water into your motor.

If you can get the motor bench tested on high speed and low speed that would be the starting point to rule out motor.

Finding some one to repair a circuit board may be a little more difficult depending on your area.

Slim possibility that it may be the topside control pad, (if that is what you are referring to "controller") but usually when that happens, other functions act erratically.
