Human Resources is a valuable resource for the company.

Human Resources is responsible for many things and all of them have major importance and impact upon the management of the company.

Human Resources recruits, interviews and hires the best employees for the company. They act as a liaison between employees and management. Problem solving is an every day issue and finding better ways to manage employees and their everyday challenges.

They must also find a fair and reasonable compensation plan to pay the employees. Incentive plans to keep them productive, and training to keep them up to date on their job knowledge and career goals.

Human Resources must evaluate, negotiate and manage all the benefit plans for the company such as insurance and pension plans. Making sure they are valuable to the employees and affordable to the company.

It is also the job of Human Resources to develop and write and enforce company policy. To write company handbooks , supervisor manuals, procedure manuals and training manuals and procedures.

Human Resources must keep up on all the governmental regulations and changes in employment laws.

Human resources is usually in charge of such unpleasant but necessary entities such as garnishments, drug testing, tax levies, and child support issues. We must deal with employment taxes, HIPPA, ERISA, the IRS and the Department of Labor on a daily basis as well as any other number of issues which the company must deal with in employee issues.

We deal with Safety, Worker's Compensation issues and FMLA issues.

One of the most challenging issue Human Resources deals with is the issue of discipline and terminations of employment.

All in a days work Human Resources is the spot where Management and employees go to find information on any number of issues within a company and where they go to also find solutions to challenges with any number of issues within the company.
