    File-type CD player won't work
I have a file-type CD player. It holds 25 CD's at once. I moved and it no longer played so I sent it to a repair shop. It came back that there was nothing wrong with it. I try to play it and I get repetitive plays and no plays and it stalls etc. I have lost the instruction book, and I do not know how to troubleshoot the thing. It is a Pioneer. I really love this thing when it works right and it is worth it to me to have it fixed. Does anyone know something I could try to get it working? Or someone who knows a lot about these things I could send it to and get it fixed?

Ask the guy at the repair shop why he thinks there's nothing wrong with it.

He said it works fine for him. Sometimes it will play about a quarter or half a CD before it acts up. Maybe he wasn't patient enough for it to start to act up. That's quite a while to wait. I will ask him again and try to explain it better to him. Thanks. SS
