    Amortization of Purchase Differential
    Can anyone guide me for calculating Amortization of Purchase Differential?
    Especially with elimination journal entries

    What do you mean by purchase differential? Are you talking about bonds issued at a discount? Could you please give an example of what you are trying to do?

    First make a purchase discrepancy amortization/goodwill impairment schedule, then add up the balance of relevant years. And you will get what you want...
