    MTD 38" cut roars when blade are engaged. What is this?
    I have a 38in MTD Yardman Lawn Tractor/Mower. I noticed it was making a "roaring" or "whining" noise a few weeks ago and yesterday it was even louder. NOw it doesn't want to pull forward. It works fine is reverse but struggles elsewhere. What could be my issue. I've only had it for about 2 maybe 3 years?

    Hi,
    I am confused. When the blades are engaged?
    Or when trying to move in one direction or the other?
