    Why are my clothes still wet
    Have a maytag mdg5500awq gas dryer which won't dry clothes... replaced control board and touch pad, and checked out thermostat . The lights on the board are out from very dry,normal and damp dry. What did I forget ?

    Hi MS 1947:

    Can you feel any heat getting to the dryer.. If so, I would have you check the dryer VENT and/or exhaust piping and see if maybe you have a clog in the line somewhere... could even be in the dryer itself.

    If no heat getting to the dryer I'm wondering if the electronic ignition is shot.. Can you see a spark when the dryer tries to light?
