    Pink eye
    My 4 yr. old has pink eye. Can she going swimming in a public pool? This is day 2 of medication.

    I would keep her out of the water until the medication is complete and her eyes are better. Pink eye is highly contagious. You do want it completely cleared up soon.

    I agree it is necessary to wait until it clears up. You might want to make sure she is getting enough vitamin A and vitamin B2
    I have read that they may prevent pink eye and a lack may trigger it.

    If e coli material gets in the eye, nothing is going to stop the eye from becoming infected. As with little ones, accidents like this can happen. I don't care how many vitamins one takes, or how healthy one is. Unfortune, but when summer comes and little ones are splashing in someoneone's pool, maybe one is wearing diapers, who knows, e coli gets in the water.

    I think the point was it would be a stronger defense to protect you. Like some people have more resistance to things... I believe many do because they are healthier. They may get whatever ailment but they usually have more resistance and recuperate faster being healthy.
