Trane model PTEC1501JBA wall unit leaking inside
I have a Trane wall unit (Heat/AC) installed in my 3rd floor office. Today it started leaking condensate on the inside floor -- IIRC, excess condensate has always dripped from the outside half of the unit (like a standard window AC) previously. Can anyone talk me through troubleshooting / unclogging the drainage for this unit? I got the cover off no prob, but servicing under the radiator panel looks tricky.

    Thanks in advance,
    Benjamin

Usually those units need to be removed and cleaned. Most of those units just slip out of the case in the wall or window. They are heavy so get a helper. When it is out you should be able to see where the front evaporator drains to the rear of the unit then out. The unit might have a slinger fan on the condenser side so pay close attention and do not bend it.
