Home internet has gone really slow
I have the standard 2Mb broadband connection with Virgin Media.

When I had it installed a year ago, it worked fine, similar to the computers I had been using before in the public library. Then, about six months ago everything changed speed-wise, and I now have to click on everything half a dozen times or more to get a response. Everything takes so long to happen, like getting to my email on hotmail. Sometimes the screen freezes (with message - "program not responding") and I have to turn the computer off and then on again. I've checked that there are no viruses on my hard drive, so why the slow-down I wonder?
