    What is the advantage of working offline?
    Hi; I noticed a lot of members are working offline on this site. Is there an advantage to that?SS

    About the only thing I can think of is if you are on a modem and need to use the phone, you can be on the phone, and still browse through questions and answers, even though I don't believe you would be able to post anything being as you woudlnt have a connection.

    A lot of members choose working 'offline' because if they do not they are buried in private messages and unable to assist in the forums that they would like to.
    Or they never sign off and don't like to appear to be online when they are away.

    Everyone has the choice to appear 'offline' in their option menu.
