I had an abortion 4 years ago and now trying to conceive. I had some incomplete abortion before and a lot of bleeding. Ihave haemoglobin level of 9.1. Its been 1.5 yrs now and still not conceived. My husband results r OK and my ultrasound OK Dr says I worry that due to abortion I have some complications. Please tell me what's wrong is there damage to tubes or what. I have normal periods. 3 -4 days regular

While some people can look at a stork and get pregnant it really is not as easy to happen as we sometimes warn others.

First if you are highly stressed over getting pregnant that can actually cause problems because of the emotional issues.

Next if the doctor did not find anything physcial wrong with you, odds are you can get pregnant, a abortion normally does not stop this,

So what methods of trying to conceive have you used. Are you watching your temperature and the such and not having sex during low chance period and having sex during the periods where it is more likely to conceive ?

We can't tell you if there is damage to your tubes. Only the doctor can do that. He can see the tubes on ultrasound, we can't see them on internet.

That said, an abortion does not mean that you will not get pregnant.

As Fr. Chuck said above, you may be dealing with stress issues that is causing you not to be able to become pregnant.

You must try during the fertile times of the month. Approximately 11 -14 days after the first day of your period. Do not have sex every night as this lowers the sperm count.

Hi there
I will just like to say stop worrying and start enjoying sex as that can effect it. Try different positions. After you finish leave your legs up in the air with a pillow under your bum. It worked for me as I was told by a nurse.
