Social Security Card helps with fixing your papers?
An acquaintance of mine in Mexico was sent a social security card when he was 14. I believe it was because his brother deducted him on his US taxes. This acquaintance wants to know if having this SS card helps him fix his immigration papers in any way. His is now 34. Anyone have an idea? Or where I can go to get the information?

SSN is generally irrelevant to immigration.
