    Approximate cost of engine swap
    What is a reasonable price to pay a professional shop to do an engine swap? Labor only, parts are already bought. The vehicle is a 2001 Olds Aurora.

    Labor guide shows 14.5 hours plus .5 for AC, 5 for P.S. and .2 for cruise control

I am thinking about swapping out a 7.3 diesel to a V8 gas in my 1991 ford F250 4X4 Extended Cab Pickup. Would it be cheaper to rebuild the diesel or to swap out for a V8 ? If I swap out the diesel what all do I have to do ?
