    Blower off and on
    Recently I have had trouble with my a/c... my blower goes off and on... I replaced the capacitor and thermostat but still doing the same thing. I have a trane indoor unit

    Does the blower stay on when calling for heat?

    I haven't tested it but it is 92 degrees in the house now.

    Ok, if you have a multimeter you can test the leads to the motor, see if it still has voltage when the motor stops, if it does, you will need a new motor. Please let us know what you find and we will go from there. Good luck.

I have a Lennox electric furnace that's about 10 years old or so, the elements come on but no blower. There is a summer fan switch that will make the blower run when switched on, but it will not come on with a call for heat. Also at my work, there is a york gas pack that is probably 15 years old....
