Lower back pain, but no period
    Hi,

I am 26 yr old and married for more than an year. My periods are not very regular after marriage. Before marriage they were. Can anyone help me with this?

We are trying for our first child since apr - may 09. I experienced most of the pregnancy symptoms but got periods on 16 may 09. They were not very heavy though. I got disappointed and symptoms faded. However we tried again for this month. I am feeling sensitive breasts and period like lower back pain. Also found a little white cervical discharge. But didn't get any periods. I used an hpt from dollar store today but got bfn. Please let me know what should I do. I really want to have a child.

    Thanks,

    Bfn?
It's possible that you took the test too soon. If you haven't had your period in the next week or so you could try another test. One of the experts on here said that on average it takes healthy couples a year or something (I'm not the expert so I don't remember the exact time frame) to conceive. Don't get discouraged if you don't get pregnant right away.

Yeah I agree with u... but the wait time for this is too bad... plus most of the symptoms are similar to pre menstrual symptoms. So can't even predict anything... :(

Yes, they are very similar. When you don't want to be pregnant and you're experiencing it's terrifying! Lol also, you can try having a blood test done so you don't have to wait as long. Those I believe can show positive 7-12 days after possible conception (if I'm quoting other trusted users correctly)

Even with a period you could still be pregnant. I had two the first two months I was pregnant. I think but not positive, that results should show on a home test around a month after conception. Not so sure about that, but I do know you can have a period while pregnant. I wish you the best of luck!

Lower back pain [ 1 Answers ]

I've had on and off lower to middle back pain for more than a month... when it's on it also makes my butt feel a bit numb. Heat and/or a Ben Gay type ointment makes it feel better. What could be causing it and how do I make it feel better?
