    Two wire thermostats vs others
    I want to know if a Mears, two wire electric thermostat, circa 1985, had an automatic frost protection mechanism built into it that prevented the temperature from ever getting
    Lower than 50 degrees no matter what the setting was on? Thank you.

    I doubt it.
    Would need to know the model number before it could be looked up on internet
